Las Vegas has never needed permission to put on a show, and independent film shouldn't have to ask twice either. This is a single night built around work made without a studio's backing - the kind of film that gets finished on favors, spare weekends, and a director who refused to wait for someone else's yes.
We're screening the selected films at Corporate Las Vegas - Workspace Near The Strip, 5725 S Valley View Blvd, Las Vegas, NV, on November 21, 2026, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. Expect a short program, a handful of awards handed out in person, and enough room afterward to actually talk to the people who made what you just watched.

Best Director

GETTING ON THE MARQUEE
- Open to any independently produced short or feature - no minimum runtime, 60-minute maximum for shorts.
- Films must have been completed within the last 24 months.
- English language, or English subtitles burned into the file.
- One entry per submission form - multiple films need separate entries.
- Work financed or distributed by a major studio is not eligible.
AT THE SHOW
- Selected filmmakers are invited to attend and will be introduced from the floor.
- The festival holds a one-time right to screen selected work publicly on the night only.
- All submitted material - footage, music, likenesses - must be cleared for the filmmaker's use.
- Programming and award decisions are made at the festival's discretion and are final.
- Plagiarized or rights-violating submissions are removed from consideration without notice.
